Copyright notice requirements
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
- Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
- Identification and location of the allegedly infringing platform material, including the specific URL where possible.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement of good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Counter-notices
A user whose content was removed may send a legally sufficient counter-notice identifying the material and its former location, consenting to the appropriate federal-court jurisdiction, accepting service of process, and stating under penalty of perjury a good-faith belief that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification. Cuddles You may forward the counter-notice to the claimant and restore material when legally permitted.
Repeat infringement
Cuddles You may remove content and terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. It may preserve notices and related records and disclose them when legally required.
Where to send a notice
Send notices to the legal contact listed below with the subject line “DMCA Notice.” A service seeking protection under the DMCA must also maintain an accurate designated-agent registration with the U.S. Copyright Office and publish the required agent contact details.
